Organizing Internship

Organizing interns work on the front line of our campaign by having one-on-one conversations with voters on the phone, at their doors, and at events throughout the Fifth Congressional District. Availability should be a minimum of 12 hours per week. To apply, please email a resume and cover letter to our Organizing Director David Leonard at No calls please.

Finance Internship

Finance interns maintain relationships with existing donors and and cultivate relationships with prospective donors. You'll have an opportunity to conduct research, plan events, and receive hands-on tutorials working with cutting-edge fundraising databases and technology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data management, preparing mailings, donor research, event planning and management, and helping with logistics at local events.

Ideal candidates will possess an interest in progressive politics, a good attitude, and strong multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and internet-based research is required. Familiarity with databases is helpful. Fluency in foreign languages, especially Spanish or Somali, is appreciated. Candidates should be detail-oriented, well-organized, passionate about working in a diverse community, and committed to public service. Availability should be a minimum of 12 hours per week. Candidates with experience on political campaigns and/or advocacy organizations, or who plan to stay in politics, will be given prime consideration.
