Senator Dibble: Help Keith Organize For Inclusion

Wednesday, March 28, 2012

Check out this message from State Senator Scott Dibble:

Our communities, allies, and friends like you have always stood up for inclusion of all people--regardless of race, religion, income, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

My good friend, Congressman Keith Ellison, is no exception.

Keith’s motto, Everybody Counts, Everybody Matters, is quite refreshing compared to all the divisive rhetoric we see in today’s political climate, don’t you think? It’s a simple belief that sums up his progressive record on civil rights—whether it’s leading on the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,’ protecting Americans from hate crimes and bullying, or supporting action to end discrimination against LGBT people in the workplace.

In 2012, Keith will be one of our strongest allies in the fight to defeat Minnesota’s anti-marriage constitutional amendment.

We know that Republicans will spend millions on television ads and misinformation in the battle ahead, which is why it's so important to support Keith's campaign. By running an aggressive boots-on-the-ground operation in a District with the highest concentration of Democrats in our state, Keith can help deliver the votes we need to win.

Can you chip in $10 or more to help Keith make sure we have liberty and justice for all people? With just four more days to meet his $10,000 goal, a contribution today will make a huge difference.

We have the opportunity to be the first state ever to defeat this sort of hateful measure. We have a chance to choose inclusion over division. We can send a message to the country that Minnesotans believe that everybody counts and everybody matters

If you think inclusion is worth fighting for, please click here to invest in Keith's campaign today.

Sincerely,

-Scott Dibble
State Senator, District 61

P.S.
Just yesterday, Keith was the first member of Congress to denounce the National Organization for Marriage for intentionally aiming to divide Americans across racial lines. Make sure Keith has the resources to continue organizing for inclusion by chipping in $10 or more right now.
