PETITION: No Cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

Thursday, December 13, 2012

As Co-Chair of the Progressive Caucus, I’m working with my colleagues to put our nation on sound financial footing and protect the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Unlike congressional Republicans, I believe our nation can avert the fiscal cliff without cutting Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. I need you to join me to protect our seniors, children, people with disabilities, and low-income Americans.

Will you sign my petition to oppose cuts to Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid?

Progressives in Congress need you to add your voice to the conversation. We’re speaking out against Republican proposals like raising Medicare eligibility rates, which would create a huge coverage gap and leave millions without care.

We can solve America’s fiscal challenges, but it’s going to take millions of people like you calling on Congress to avert the fiscal cliff in a way that’s fair and doesn’t hurt our country’s most vulnerable people.

We've got just over two weeks until the year-end deadline. Let’s keep organizing to get a deal that makes sure everybody counts and everybody matters.  Click here to sign my petition today.

I’m counting on you.
