A note from Keith on the State of the Union:
Last night, President Obama presented a vision for our nation in which we all do better when we all do better--a vision we all remember from Senator Paul Wellstone.
Republicans have a different vision for America. They think the economy should work only for the richest 1%.
President Obama provided a plan to reclaim the middle class last night. Now it’s up to us to deliver.
In Minnesota’s Fifth District, we’re already running like it’s two weeks before the Election--but we want to kick it up a notch.
We want to turn out 20,000 new voters in 2012--that’s about 100 people per precinct. Why? Because if we organize voters around our values, we can protect our right to vote, extend equality to all people, make sure folks who work hard can get a good job, and elect leaders who will make a difference.
