Keith will be speaking at this weekend’s first-ever High School Camp Wellstone, a special one-time training designed to give students the skills to organize on grassroots and political campaigns.
Location: Macalester College in St. Paul.
Friday May 9th from 4-9 PM
Saturday May 10 from 9-5 PM
Fee: $10 (scholarships available)
Camp Wellstone is an intensive and energizing training program that is open to anyone interested in gaining practical skills in progressive political action. Over 16,000 people have graduated from the camps since they began in 2003 and camps have been held in 39 states to date. The 1.5 day training will consist of workshops on how to build a voter registration Street Team, develop “stealth” grassroots media tools, how to be a young leader and how to get your voice heard.
